Legal Research At Seton Hall Law

The Seton Hall Law Rodino Library has a variety of print and electronic resources available for your New Jersey legal research.  This guide covers select resources available for doing New Jersey legal research including finding legislation, court opinions, and secondary sources.  New Jersey Legal Research covers a BROAD swath of materials.  Therefore, this research guide is not all-inclusive, but is meant to jump start your research. 

This guide provides links to a variety of databases, several of which are limited to Seton Hall Law faculty, and current students. Please contact the Reference Desk for information on obtaining obtaining passwords for Westlaw iconWestlaw, Lexis Advance iconLexis Advance, and Bloomberg Law iconBloomberg Law.

For some highly specialized areas of legal research or historical research, users may need to consult nearby law libraries at Rutgers University (both the Rutgers-Camden and Rutgers-Newark Law Libraries are open to the public), and the New Jersey State Library in Trenton.
