Ebsco E-Book Error

Are you trying to access an E-book and receiving the following error? We can help!

SHIB101 : ID4406: The SAML response does not correct status code. Expected: 'urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:status:Success', actual: 'urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:status:Responder'.

If you are using Microsoft Edge, change browsers.

Solution # 1 Clear Cache

1. Clear your cache in Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Firefox.

2. Close the browser.

3. Reopen the browser and go to the ebsco link you were using through the library catalog or edatabases.

Solution #2 Designated Ebsco Browser

If you feel comfortable with technology and have two browsers, use one browser for OKTA/law school.  The other browser can be the "clean" Ebsco research browser.  For example, if you always use Chrome, use Firefox as your Clean browser.  Do not Access Okta on there.  Instead only access Ebsco through the library pages in this browser.

Solution #3 Private Browsing

Use private browsing.  This is Incognito in Chrome, Private Window in Firefox, and InPrivate in Internet Explorer, InPrivate in Microsoft Edge.  The Law School computers have InPrivate greyed out.
