Research Assistance

Research Assistance:

You can seek research assistance from our librarians via email, Teams, or in person.

In-Depth Research Assistance:

For in-depth research assistance, please first discuss your research project with our Faculty Services Librarian, Galina Abdel Aziz. This allows the Librarian time to prepare to help with your research.

Backup/Immediate Assistance:

You may reach out to the reference librarian on duty to answer questions. Please feel free to contact by emailing us at LawLibRef@shu.edu.   The reference email account is monitored by librarians Sunday - Friday, and they try to responds in a timely fashion.

Research Assistant Training:

Please let us know when you are using law student RAs to assist you with your research. We encourage sending your RAs to us for an initial visit to discuss research strategies and to suggest resources that will help make them more efficient researchers for you.

  • If you have a research assistant, you can refer them to our Research Assistant Resources Guide which provides them with an arsenal of resources and advise for helping you with your research.
